IIn 1960 Dr. Bethea became a full time medical missionary in Africa and left Dr. Adams to continue the practice alone.
Dr. Sam Patterson and Dr. Phil Schreier left full time faculty positions at the University of Tennessee and joined Dr. Adams in 1967.
They were joined by Dr. Larry Johnson in 1968, Dr. Harold White in 1972, Dr. John Austin in 1980, Dr. Frank King in 1985, Dr. Leigh Keegan in 1990, Dr. Alan Platkin and Dr. Bob Sauter in 1994, Dr. Kristin Miller in 1995, and Dr. Mike Marshall in 1996.
