Miriah B. Denbo, MD

Dr. Miriah Denbo graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2003.  She attended Indiana University School of Medicine for her medical school training, and then moved to Memphis in 2007 where she completed her residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.  She was honored with the Humanism & Excellence in Teaching Award during residency for her contribution to teaching medical students, and upon graduation received the Excellence in Laparoscopic Surgery Award.

 Dr. Denbo is a board eligible member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association, Memphis Medical Society and Memphis OBGYN Society.  She has a passion for teaching and continues to work with medical sutdents and residents through the University of Tennessee as a clinical faculty member. 

Dr. Denbo is trained in the diagnosis and management of women's healthcare problems from adolescence to past menopause.  Her special interests involve general obstetrics and gynecology, minimally invasive surgery (such as laparoscopy and robotic surgery), contraceptive management, and basic infertility and reproductive endocrinology.  She is also interested in providing in-office procedures to patients such as endometrial ablation and Essure permanent tubal sterilization.

When not working or perfecting her "southern" accent, Dr. Denbo injoys spending time with her husband, Jason and daugher, Norah.  Some of her favorite past-times include reading, camping and hiking.
