B. Todd Chappell, M.D.
Dr. Todd Chappell graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1999. He then attended the UT Health Science Center in Memphis for his medical school training. Staying in Memphis for his residency, he served as administrative chief resident in his final year.
He is a board eligible member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the AMA, TMA, Memphis Medical Society, and Memphis OBGYN society. Dr. Chappell has a passion for teaching, and he will continue to work with training the next generation of physicians as a clinical faculty member for the university.
With a continued concentration in new technologies, Dr. Chappell especially enjoys minimally invasive techniques for treatment of problems in women’s health care. His special interests involve hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, including robotic surgery. He also enjoys utilizing in-office procedures when appropriate, which can allow a patient to avoid the operating room for their treatment.
When not at work, he and his wife Keri enjoy spending time with their family and friends, and their golden retriever Samson. They are also avid University of Memphis fans, and attend as many Tiger basketball and football games as possible.
