E. Darby Heitman, APN
Darby Heitman graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis in 1993. She began her career in Labor & Delivery at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. She also worked at UT Medical Group, a multispecialty OB/GYN office for 12 years. In August 2002, she graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a Masters in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Thoughout her career she has worked in many areas of OB/GYN including high risk obstetrics, genetics, pediatric gynecology, urogynecology and routine obstetrics and gynecology. She worked at The West Clinic in GYN Oncology before starting here in January 2007.
Darby emphasizes the wholistic approach to womens health. She is interested in gynecology, urogynecology, alternative medicine, aesthetics, and research. She is a preceptor for the University of Memphis Nurse Practitioner students. Her outside interests are her family, water skiing, and cooking.
Darby is married and has two children. She enjoys volunteering and reading at her children's school. She enjoys camping and nature activities with her family.
